Websydian Ext JS

Introduction

With WebsydianExpress v3.5 we introduce a brand new option for creating RIA (Rich Internet Applications) with WebsydianExpress using the Sencha Ext JS java script framework.

The Websydian Ext JS support generates RIA applications

For the existing Websydian developer you will find that not much have changed in the way you create your Websydian application inside your Plex model. But of course their are changes and some of them are related to the way you model your pages within your Plex model but the main differences is the way the templates are generated and the fact that RIA application are "fat" clients you will also see that a lot of java script code is now part of your templates.

Samples and tutorials

With the installation of WebsydianExpress you also got a new site containing a number of samples to show how Websydian Ext JS application looks after development. With the samples we also provide you with a local model to see how the samples are made in the Plex model.

These samples are backed up by a number of tutorials available under the tutorial section in the table of content to your left.
